Become a volunteer and offer your skills in the beautiful economic capital of Cameroon. Also remote/virtual support is supported.

We are looking for 3 volunteers: Living in Europe, America, Asia, Africa, motivated between 18 and 45 years old, interested in agriculture, microfinance entrepreneurship & education to support investment with social entrepreneurship models.

Requirements for the volunteers:
• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in relevant field
• Relevant tertiary, professional or technical qualifications and/or certification.
• Experience in fundraising and resource mobilization, ideally at international levels.
• Experience and skills in program/project management.
• Strategic vision and demonstrated ability for planning and execution, including knowledge of various donor requirements and an ability to develop and write grant proposals and concepts and track record in winning proposals.
• Experience working with project teams and community leaders

THE PROJECT: In 2019, Janek Andre, a MovingWorlds experteer joined our team to provide on-site training for the local ACTLAB team in business modeling and -innovation, financial planning, value chain management, and personal planning. As a part of our commitment to education and creative economies, our team is working to build a team of twenty one trainees to create educational materials, and organise campaigns and workshops for agro-pastoral and entrepreneurial training. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in agricultural and entrepreneurial development, an ability to do manual labor, and proficiency in English. Join us and develop agriculture, education & microfinance in Cameroon!

THE MISSION: The volunteer will work full time with the team of Europe-Cameroon project partners from Monday to Friday, on a 30 hour-week basis. They might be asked to take part in evening gatherings with the staff, project management team and partners and community in the evenings. From time to time the volunteer will have the time to work in ACTLAB and other local partners with other volunteers to scale their projects.

The main missions for the volunteer will be:
1. Providing screening, assessment, referral and intervention for the agricultural,
educational and microfinance projects.

2. Training of project local staffs, ACTLAB members and students in local schools, parents and community education to enhance awareness and the support of services available in Cameroon with social entrepreneurship models.

3. Joint project with the Europe-Cameroon management team according to the overall European Project Lead’s vision.
